Hi Sandra - In answer to your second question (and by the way congrats on your engagement!) Yes, you can conceive with PCOS. It is possible that it may not be easy, and you might need to put some extra effort into it and really be aware of your body etc. You may have to induce your ovulation with a medication or just reduce your insulin levels in general, but don't let anyone tell you that PCOS makes it impossible to have a child. I've got a fair amount of links that at least will give you a great start in figuring all this PCOS stuff out. There are also plenty of books out there that do PCOS justice; I haven't read it but I know a lot of women here will recommend PCOS the Hidden Epidemic. I also am a big fan of the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, which someone here recommended to me! Anyway those links: Start at the PCOS Association website http://www.pcosupport.org as they have a great overview and a lot of links themselves, it's a nice central base to work from. Then check out: http://blues.fd1.uc.edu/~gartsips/polycyst.htm http://www.inciid.org/faq/pcos.html http://www.ivf.com/links/pcoslinks.html There are many, many others out there, these are just some of my favorites. Just type "PCOS" into a web search engine and I am sure you will find a wealth of information! Good Luck with everything sweetie-
