Hi Karen, I went through 5 years in an infertiltiy program at one of the best hospitals in St. Louis, Mo. I conceived, AFTER leaving the program, and miscarried on Christmas Day, 1991. Infertility programs and treatments are a blessing and a curse. They do take their toll on your body and your relationships. There is certainly nothing wrong with not putting yourself through that, if you don't feel compelled to. We adopted a beautiful, healthy, baby boy in 1992. I have NO regrets about stopping the infertility treatments when we did, and I would not change a thing about what I went through or how things ended up. You must make choices that YOU can live with. I will keep you in my prayers as you decide what will happen in your future.
