I found this on http://www.b4baby.com About 30,000 women undergo IVF treatment in the UK every year. About 20% of these become pregnant, and about a quarter of this percentage miscarry. Some Health Authorities in the UK will fund IVF treatment, depending on the suitability of the couple. However, for those who do not receive help, IVF can be an expensive as well as emotionally draining experience. Some couples have even used up all their savings, remortgaged or sold their homes to pay for the treatment.

"Recover" is the UK's first insurance agency set up for those having IVF treatment and other forms of assisted reproduction. The idea came from insurance broker, Anja Ruppert, after seeing the distress and financial burden a friend having IVF treatment had suffered. Together with business partners Emma Stamper and Mitchel Kalmanson, Ruppert has put together a policy that will compensate a couple if their assisted reproduction attempt ends in miscarriage. While the money cannot compensate for the tragedy of losing the foetus, it can help to alleviate the financial pressure of those couples wanting to try again.

The policy excludes women outside the 18-40 age range, as well as those that have a history of more than two miscarriages. It stipulates that the IVF treatment must be carried out in a clinic approved by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA). Cover begins as soon as a scan confirms the presence of a healthy foetus.
