I have the same problem also, sometimes I think that the extra weight I carry isn't fat at all it's some kind of thing that was created by this disease and that hopefully if I got better it would just away like it just appeared.

It get's worse every month and so far I have found no way to stop it. The heavy bleeding while I know not alot of women with PCOS have that problem there does seem to be several of us.

My bleeding has gotten so bad in the last year it has caused several awful scence in public and within the family. The bleeding was my final straw, I went to my Dr. and insisted that they do something, anything. Check my hormones please.....

The only thing they bothered to check was my estrogen and when I asked the nurse well how was my progesterone she said hum progesterone what is that....

I wanted to scream here she is a 40 year old female nurse who doesn't know what progesterone is. Needless to say I went to my gyno. and told him about the bleeding and he put me on PROVERA I have been on it for 4 months now, it helped with my skin problems and has lessened the bleeding problems.
