Many PCOS women may be at their most fertile the cycles directly after coming off BCPs. The BCPs suppress the ovaries enough so they may function more normally. In fact,many REs prescribe a cycle of BCPs before begining IVF procedures. The old advice of waiting a few months to try to concieve after taking BCPs does not apply so much anymore. Joan
