if it lowers your testosterone, than it may slow the growth, but it does not work that way in every woman.

please understand that glucophage is not some magical cure all. it is an insulin sensitizer. its purpose is to lower your insulin levels. in SOME women when their insulin levels are lowered, their other hormones begin to correct themselves as weee, so we end up with wonderful results. BUT this is not true for every patient. one should NEVER begin taking glucophage believing that it will correct ANYTHING other than insulin levels, because the other things are nice side effects, but they are not the main goal of the drug, and will not happen in every case.
