I am really disgusted that a doctor wouldn't take you seriously because of your sexual preference. Its a medical condition and for him/her to judge you that just makes me so mad. His/her first priority is your health and not whom you choose to love or be. With all the education doctors have, its hard to believe sometimes the ignorance. I saw a dermatologist once, and she said "There is no reason that you can't get medication with or without PCOS for your facial hair"..That was all I needed to hear.
