Hello,

Went to get blood taken again yesterday. Boy do I hate needles (but I suppose id better get used to them eh>?)

I was telling the nurse what I was in for, and told her my story about how long its taken to be taken seriously.

She said to me: "It sounds like you feel you've been mucked around a lot".. to which I burst into tears and out it all came... years of pain and hurt etc..

The lovely nurse gave me a big cuddle and she said to go and see one of the GPs there who specialised in Gynaecology. It's a start at least - even if he's not the best person to speak to - at least he might refer me to the right kind of person to deal with the problem - and most importantly, he won't just brush me off with BCPs.

So, I have an appointment with this doctor next wednesday. Tomorrow, I am going out to lunch with a colleague of mine who also has PCOS. She'll hopefully tell me what's available in the UK and everything.

I feel like I'm making progress, but you know when you can't help but feel miserable.

Ahh well....

Thanks for listening katie
