Hi there ;)

I am on met, and not aware of any severe long term side effects. I know many of us are on it, although I firmly believe that if we can truly get it all under control, with the help of Met, maybe we can go off of it eventually. I have never used aldactone so I can not help you there.

I have never waxed my upper lip, but I used a hair removal creme (NEVER AGAIN!!) and although it was not "stubbly" it did seem that the hairs were more visible when they were short, if that makes sense. I will not use the hair removal creme again because it burned my face really bad and I had dry patchy spots for days, then I got nasty zips :P Me, I just use those tiny sharp cuticle scissors, or nose hair scissors and keep it really short, does not seem to be visible that way.
