Stephanie,

I hope I can put your mind at ease a little. This is a chronic problem I have with my PCOS. The elevated levels of testosterone cause my ovaries to become inflammed. Its common apparently. They are almost always enlarged at least a little. I'm on the pill and it helps, but sometimes I am put on an anti-inflammatory if it gets out of hand. Generally its as simple as taken Advil for a couple of days regularly. Its not cancerous. Its just caused by hormone imbalances that take sometime to work themselves out, so don't panic.

Feel free to e-mail me if you have any more questions.
