I went to my RE today with all the questions about the stuff I have learnt
here and she said the I do have PCOS but am not IR (Insulin 9.8 Glocose 91)
and am to continue BCP for this month so that they can predict when AF will
arrive and this also gives the overy some rest and them time to order
Lupron/Repronex. She said that in most of her patients starting them off
with a cycle of bcp has helped and didnt want to jinx the system. She also
reiterated that bcp for those not ttc was the best way out. Paula I know
your feeling on this subject :) . She also didnt prescribe any Met (I am 130
lb). I think I am just going to go with her as I feel very comfortable with
her (not like my last doc at Kaiser So. Cal) and hope for the best. I am in
San francisco Bay area and with Kaiser No. Cal. Any opinions about my
situation would be welcome. Should i go to some other doc. Any suggestion
for another doc in the bay area.
Thanks in advance.
