Obviously raising the dosage should be something you should talk about with the doctor who prescribed spiro for you. It may be happening, but I don't know of any doctors who prescribe spiro for acne--it's just one of the symptoms that goes away when you lower your androgen levels. (The higher androgen levels are often what cause the acne in the first place, so spiro isn't combating the acne, it's combating the androgen levels which when lowered may reduce the acne.) But who knows--your acne might be from something completely different.

I am only on 50mg/day of Spiro and have seen a difference, but I'm also doing many other things to help--taking supplements specifically for hair loss/growth and insulin resistance, changing my diet dramatically. Some people turn around their pcos symptoms without drugs at all. It's hard work. It also doesn't work for everyone.

I guess what I'm saying, is--you're concerned about raising your dosage because of already low blood pressure--so look at the things that may be affecting spiro not working as well for you. By doing other things that help eliminate pcos symptoms, you may make your spiro usage go a lot further, and that will be better for your body all around.
