I've been on spiro for 5 months now at 100 mg./day..with NO good results to report- I am so very discouraged after being on accutane last year and now I still break out with cysts and have very dry skin that flakes. I used to have oily skin but not after accutane..it's hard to find a moisturizer to use that doesn't make me break out! I also take minocin, use cleocin, azelex acid and retin a as well. I'm about ready to give up.There isn't a drug I haven't tried! Even tried glucophage for 3 months after glucophage but before spiro..to no luck. I never broke out as much in my 20''s or early 30's as much as now!The only thing that works as a quick fix is going to the derm once a month too get my cysts injected to shrink them..but they keep coming back!
