I'm not seeing an RE yet, but I am TTC, so I want to go to one soon. >From what I've read on the board, there are some people who are seeing
REs and aren't TTC, but I've also read that some REs want to work on a pregnancy. So, you might have to shop around.

Glucophage (aka Metformin) is not a fertility drug. It's an insulin sensitizer and some people who take it get the added benefit of ovulation. Not everyone does, though. You should be able to get Met even if you aren't TTC. You can get an insulin test to determine if you're insulin resistant and that can be the reason to get the presciption. I didn't take the test, though. My doctor just prescribed it on my PCOS diagnoses alone.

I feel tons better and my cycles seem to be leveling out to around 26 days. I've been taking it since July 00.

Good luck! Cassandra
