Glucophage and Synthroid

I recently started taking Glucophage and am wondering how to fit it into my schedule. I realize that it needs to be taken with food but what are the other drug interactions that I need to be aware of? I currently am taking Synthroid, a multi-vitamin and a B complex suppliment. I know that with the Synthroid I need take it on an empty stomach and not eat for an hour plus iron needs to have a four hour break from it. So I have been taking the synthroid in the early AM, the glucophage at noon and the vitamins at bedtime. Next week I start the glucophage 2x a day but I am not sure when to dose myself. Morning & evening? Any conflicts here??

When I asked the pharmacist, he blew me off with "Read the pamphlet in the container". All I learned there was to take it with meals or milk.

Also I drink a ton of grapefruit juice. (Kinda goes with my acidic personality I'm told). Do I remember correctly that glucophage and grapefruit aren't a good mix?

Thanks so much for any enlightenment!!!!
