Hi Altho I was diagnosed with PCOS in april 2000 based on blood work and clinical evaluation, I recently made my Dr do an IGTT on me. It was for 2 hours and I fasted for the 10 or so hours beforehand. My Dr says my results say I am 'only mildy IR' as if to write it off. But i think that to whatever degree IR you are, it is still a problem and an issue. But he gave me a script. for Glucophage before this test even happened anyhow so whatever. (shrug) Anyway, I'm weirded out by my sugar numbers actually, but any help anyone can give me on interpreting these numbers at all -- I'd SOOO appreciate it!! thanks so much! Time Glucose Insulin 0 104 8.2 30min 144 46.4 60min 102 35.2 120min 114 21.7 Ummm, btw, why did my glucose go UP at 120... isnt that kind of weird?...... thanks everyone!!
