new to PCOS - any hope ?

I've been diagnosed as PCOS 2 weeks ago and I don,t know what to do. I was pregnant once 10 years ago but due to various things had it terminated. Now of course I feel like I've lost my only chance. I'm due to the gynae in 6 weeks. What can I expect? Do I have any hope of children? I' m 36 and have been ttc for 2 years. I'm overweight (14 1/2 stone) and have acne though I do have fairly regular cycles ( 24 to 36 day gaps). I'm feeling so despairing cos I don't know if I'll ever have children and sometimes I don't know if I even want to now with all this going on. This is all such a shock and not many people in the UK seem to know much about it. Am I giving up to soon? I don't feel I have anyone to talk to. Can anyone help?
