well i read A LOT of articles about PCOS and insulin resistance...but i *think* that issue of a different type of insulin came from this (http://www.infertilityphysician.com/androgen/pcos.html) article...i dont think all the info i presented was in there, just a blurb...you can search medscape.com and find some great stuff...also onhealth.com and webmd.com
im constantly on the lookout for new info. ive been spending a lot of time at a hospital lately with my mother being in such bad shape (although doing better) so (LOL) i have been questioning every doctor i run into about possible explainations and research. im trying to get this one doc of my mom's to let me into her research stash to look around =)
i read medical journals and i as i am a bio major i am planning a trip to this nearby medical school to look at their library (to finish a school project mainly) and im gonna dig through some endocronogical stuff while im there.
