Hi Madison - it's fairly common for your first period after not having one to be clotty. It pretty gross and not much fun, but I don't think it will harm you! Ask your doctor if you are still worried.

The medications we have for PCOS will HELP you to control your weight, but of course nothing is a magic pill that keeps you thin. If you have PCOS you still have to be very, very careful about eating very well and getting plenty of excercise. It's not fair but not much is right? :) Hope you stay healthy -
