It really makes it harder for me to concentrate, and I have had a general feeling of "missing the big picture" from long talks and even movies when everyone else is "getting it". While I don't experience it as pain or dizziness, it is not relieved by more rest or caffeine or any other quick fix. I first found total relief from it on Glucophage (metformin) but the drug stopped working on all of my symptoms after a few months. I missed my alert brain the most when all the previous symptoms like brain fog came back. I have had a little relief on a strict low-carb diet, but it is not a total cure. I do notice that when I have cheated and gone back on high-carb foods I have the greatest level of brain fog; in my mind I am not very useful at that point. I hope you can find treatment that will relieve this for you; it really messes up your life, and is such an embarrassing part of PCOS.
