PCOS, Periods, Ovulation and all that fun stuff (???s........)From: MLM (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 15 Jan 2001 22:57:56 -0600 (CST)
I am hoping someone on here can help. I was diagnosed with PCOS almost 2 years ago. I have never had regular periods. Since losing weight (about 35 lbs.) with Low Carb dieting, I have got my periods back, but they have been 37 days (3 months in a row) I have never been on Glucophage. Heres my questions... Is that considered a "normal" cycle ?? How do I know if I am ovulating ? I would like to try a Ovulation Monitor but don't know if it will read my info. accurately. Has anyone on here used one ? (I am referring to the more expensive machine not the OPK) Any information on this subject and what I have shared with you would be appreciated. Thanks !
