Actually hormonal illness paired with obesity does help one get on it. I
will say Roni you are correct about the fact one does have to have
breathing problems or edema etc from the obesity. you really do have to
have affected mobility. I did and do. (my asthma when I was thin too
didnt help though I have had that more controlled over the last years.
A medically induced obesity usually too is more approved readily even
though this may not be completely fair. I had no problems on my review
when my doctor put down all my hormonal imbalances and hyperadrenalism.
I had my review of disabilty approved immediately.
I worked as long as I could in 1996. even got demoted to night shift.
--not in pay because that would be illegal but I couldnt keep up. I was
a case worker counselor with violent youth. When your employers are
aware of your illness and know its best to move on..this does help.
