Star, The test is more likely to tell you if you are insulin resistant(IR). there is thought to be a strong link between being IR and PCOS for many women. Treatment with insulin sensitizing medication(Metformin, Avandia etc..) has helped many women restore ovarian function and diminish other symptoms.
