18 weeks and so far so goodFrom: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 11 Jan 2001 15:30:27 -0600 (CST)
Hi Everyone, I miss writing to the forum. But my first four months of pregnancy have been hell with morning sickness that has been 24/7. I just wanted to update everyone. Things so far are going well. We had an u/s on Jan. 8th to get measurements and check for disorders. Everything looks good, but the baby would not cooperate for measurements or so we could find out the sex. It was sitting indian style with a foot covering the private area. We have to go back on the 25th of Jan for another u/s to see if they can get the rest of the measurements and then maybe I can find out the sex. We'll see. Because of my PCOS and IR I am already seeing a diabetic dr. every two weeks. I don't have the gestional diabetes yet, but my dr thought to start early with monitoring of the sugar and a good diet. Since on am not on MET becasue of the pregnancy they figure the symptons will turn around and make me diabetic. So they are keeping a close eye on me. The pregnancy has been hard so far. Of course I am not 23 either. I am extremely tired and the pains of stretching are bad. I did spot at 9 weeks, but everything was fine. I will be hitting my half mark soon, but I still worry everyday something will go wrong. I will keep you updated on my next u/s. angela
