Samina,
Everytime I go to a gyno and tell them abt not having my periods for the
longest time, they have suggested I go on BCPs. I have tried this in
the past, and for me at least, once I stop taking the pills I never get
my periods for another 6 months at least. I also gained a lot of
weight. So I know that this is not gonna work for me. And like someone
said...I dont want to treat the symptom...I want to treat the cause. I
really want to do everything possible to make my body regulate hormone
levels by itself.
But this has been my experience and everyone is different. The approach
u are taking may work for you and especially since u want a baby now,
you should probably go with what the doc says...I dunno ...my guess is
as good as yrs. But for me......I need to get back to normal and I have
another 1 and half yrs to do so........and if things don't work
out...hey at least I would have tried !!!
Good luck to u.........
