Hi,

Is there any particular reason (medically or otherwise) for not wanting to take BCPs. My RE has suggested that my PCOS can be treated if we force normal cycles using BCPs as they will regulate the amount of hormaones the body should have to create proper cycles. I am on day 5 of provera and wil have to go on BCP next month so that "my body quietens down and does not produce any more cysts" (My RE) and the following cycle we will be trying Lupron. My feeling here is that If i was not so desperate to have the baby NOW, I would probably go on BCP for a couple of months and get my cycles regular so that when I stop i should ovulate naturally.

Dont know if my thinking is correct. Everybody Please corect me if I am wrong.
