Re: errrrrrr...another yeast infectionFrom: Koolaide (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Dec 2000 18:59:04 -0600 (CST)
Hi there, like most aliments, prevention is the best. I would NOT reccomend douching with yogurt ! Eat the yogurt about 1 cup per day everyday. I know that cranberry juice is for bladder, but also for yeast. I know it is a carb, however... this is important. Make sure you get 'real' cranberry juice or better yet if you like cranberries, go for them. It is the sugar that makes the yeast infection, once you can get that under control they should slow down. Are you on any med's for pcos? Are you insulin resistant too? If not, check into it and see what your sugar level is. If it is high, there is the culprit. Good luck to you.
