Re: dry skin and stuff...

I just read an article about dry skin. The dr. said that it's lack of moisture that causes it usually. He recommends drinking lots of water and using moisturizer. He also said to only wash your torso/legs/arms every other day. I guess drying off is a bad thing and he said if at all possible just brush the water off yourself with your hands or just pat with the towel but don't dry completely. Within 3 minutes of getting out of the shower and while still wet/damp moisturize all over, the water/moisture does something to seal in the moisturizer. For your face use a moisturizer without oils and such because they can clog your pores.

I've been following his recommendations and it has helped. The other thing I did for my elbows/knees/hands/feet is buy a Paraffin spa. This really helps! My hands are in much better condition and my feet are getting there too.

For your hair... you don't say what hair type you have but my hair is thin/fine (how's that for a combo??!). My hair was fried once from a perm (I mean frizzy broke fried). After using this combo of products my hair looked great in no time. For shampoo I use Tresemme for all hair types, it lists on the front that it has certain vitamins in it. For conditioner I use Back to Basics Raspberry Almond conditioner (this is sold in nearly any salon). I just use a drop on the ends and leave it on to soak while I shower, then I rub it in all over and let it sit another minute. I use it everyday because my hair needs it, I have no broken ends and my hair is in great shape. It can be too heavy for some hair though so it may not work as well for others. The whole Back to Basics line is really good so you might experiment until you find something that works.

Anyhow just some suggestions in case you haven't tried them yet. Hope you find something that works!
