Worried - doctor says my right ovary is swollen.

Hi ladies, I haven't been on the list much lately because of a new job. I have been doing pretty well on metformin, spironolactone, and a low carb diet. I've lost 30lbs since January. But yesterday I went to my gynecologist for my annual exam, and when she was feeling my ovaries, she commented that the right one felt kind of large and swollen. I have been having a little bit of cramping there, but I thought it was just due to my period. She's going to send me for an ultra sound now. I'm really stressing - especially after that cyster who posted about her ovarian cancer/hysterectomy. Has anyone had this happen to them before? What did the doctors do about it? I'm 24 and I don't want a hysterectomy now (or ever, if I can avoid it). No, I don't have any children. If anyone knows anything about this, please post. Thank you.

Jennifer
