I've been charting for about three months now and it has been very useful. My doctors have been able to use them to help determine if I'm ovulating. Charting you're temperatures alone can be confusing, but I chart my temps, cervical fluid (which is more helpful than the temps in determining ovulation), cervical position, PMS symptoms, and my moods.

My temperatures are kind of weird, but after a few months, I am starting to see patterns.

My dr looked at the charts and told which months he thought I'd ovulated in and which I didn't.

Most of all, though, it's really put me in contact with my body and helps me understand what's going on a lot better.

Once again, I highly recommend "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." It explains a ton about your body and charting that you probably ever knew!

Good luck!
