Hello all. It is a true miracle that I even know about PCOS at all. It was only last week that I sat down at my computer feeling so hopeless as to what the hey was going on with me. I preformed a quick search on the words "obesity & facial hair" and Voila! PCOS was on pratically every site mentioned! As I poured through the information I sat and cried like a baby, mostly out of joy. I felt so relieved that it wasn't just something in my head or something I just had to quietly live with. I have yet to get to my Dr. as it is quite busy this time of the year in his office. I have been checked for thyroid and everything came out normal. I presently have a quickly balding scalp, hair on parts of me that I have never had dark hair on (or long weird hairs), I went 54 days between my last period ( I was about ready to cause bodily harm to my husbands uriologist lol) have a frightening lack of control in my eating habits, and have had depression &moodswings to boot! There are many many other things that have cropped up : acne (never had it before) itchy bumps on my face, skin tags, you name it! I also have recently had on occasion bad pain in my pubic bones, so much so that I find it hard to walk. The last case of this was the 23, but as I type I feel the pain starting again. Has anyone else had this? After I had my last last child I had this happen, Dr. stated it was the bones going back into place after being separated for birth...And No I am apparently not pregnant..although I look about 9 mos... I appreciate any imput. Thank you for this site.Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!
