Mary,

I live in Des Moines, south side, and have suffered with PCOS for about 10 years. I am currently seeing a nurse practitioner in Urbandale and am seeing wonderful results. Her name is Kathy Fitzgerald and she is at the Mercy Urbandale Clinic. You may consider giving her a call. She is very knowledgeable on the subject of PCOS and takes a whole person approach to treating it, including sharing copies of her research and reading material. She really knows her stuff and is very attentive and open to answering any and all questions. She is also very excited about the results she is seeing with glucophage and is eager to have her PCOS patients give it a try. I have been taking it for about a month and am up to 1000 mg. So far, I have had virtually no side effects and I am already seeing some weight loss and increase in my energy level. You are welcome to correspond with me directly or through this forum. Good luck to you!

( I am still fairly new to this forum - first time posting and still trying to get the hang of it. Please bear with me!)

Molly
