I don't know about "extensive" experience, but my ob/gyn is VERY knowledgable, and does very well in diagnosing or treating PCOS. I adore the man. His name is Dr Dave Telasha, is in Milwaukie, a block from Milwaukie Providence Hospital. His number is 503-659-3960, address 3315 SE Harrison, Milwaukie, Oregon

Tell him Maggie Weber sent you. He LOVES referrals. Be prepared for your first visit to take at least an hour. He does an extensive history/interview before putting you into an exam room. During that he will ask all the questions he needs, then tell you what he thinks you may be suffering from, as well as any and all ramifications of that. He will then examine you to either back up or refute the possibilities, and take any indicated tests. I love the man, and so do all my friends who have gone to see him. He did a great job of handling my PCOS, and 8 weeks ago did a complete hysterectomy to rid me of ovarian cancer. He was very caring and attentive both before and after the surgery. Give him a call, and set up an appointment. He takes almost all medical insurances, and even has evening hours for those who cannot get in during the day.

Good luck

Maggie Weber....

If I have had a hysterectomy, does it mean I no longer have PCOS?
