Re: No sex drive

I think PCOS and lack of sex drive are interrelated. I took BCP's for years and had no problem, but after my foray with clomid and that entire fiasco, BCP's cause me a host of problems, not the least of which is absolutely no interest in sex. Of course when I'm off BCP's, I'm back to my old self, but otherwise this is really strange.

Fortunately my husband has been very supportive, but I wish it didn't have to be this way. I am 36 years old and am entirely too young to give up.

I am on met and had 2 cycles as normal before going without any cycle, and now my RE has put me on demulen. I have noticed some lack of interest in sex since I've been on them (one month), but it isn't as bad as before. Hopefully things will go along well with this RX because I do not do well with provera.

BTW, when I went to RE last time, I told him I had had 2 cycles on met and then none, so I took provera but didn't have anything from it. He said not to be too concerned, just that I probably wasn't making much lining. Have any of you heard anything like that? I've never taken provera that I absolutely didn't need to put a bucket between my knees!

Demulen -- any of you taking that? Does it cause extended business and extended cramping? My business lasted 5 days (and with other BCP's, never more than 3 max) and I am still having cramps (weird). Any ideas?

Hope all of you had a great Christmas holiday!
