Hi!! My endo asked me the same thing.She said that a syndrome like Cushings can be confused w/ PCOS.Alot of people w/ Cushings syndrome will have like dark purplish striae, & this is one of the signs of Cushings syndrome. To rule out cushings I had to do a 24 hr urine cortisol test.I hope this helped some.Happy Hoildays!!! Alexis T.
