hi all, i had a bad low sugar episode today, shaking, dizzyness and i nearlly collapsed. funny thing is that i have been very careful with eating low gi food this week...i've been having very low gi food,mostly barley,green vegies, & fish. i phoned my doc (who thankfully is very understanding and pretty well informed :) and she suggested that the food may have been too low gi. does anyone know if this is possible, or have any opinions on eating too low gi? i do make a real effort to keep the carbs to a max of 50% of my diet, and eat only the slow release ones. i am not overweight (touch wood!)so i'm not sure if this will effect the level of gi foods i should have, but i know that i do get very ill if i eat high carbs... any opinions? cheers,
