Having periods but not pregnantFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 19 Dec 2000 12:04:06 -0600 (CST)
I am a 34 years old and have been diganosed with PCOS for about 10 years. I was on/off birth control pills for about 9 years. Everytime I went off of them, I missed my peroids for several months at a time. Once I continued taking them, my periods came back. I stopped taking the birth control in Dec 1999 because I was getting married in July 2000 and wanted to get pregnant right away. Since I stopped taking the pill, I have had my period every month since January 2000 and have a normal cycle. I thought it would be easy to get pregnant... Well here it is, December 2000, and still no luck. I still continue to get my monthly periods but no luck in getting pregnant. I am taking my temprature every morning and my husband and I are having intercourse every other day or every third day but nothing. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I understand that sometimes this process takes awhile but my husband is very anxious to have a baby and I want to show him some other couples experiences in this area. Thanks you in advance for your time and reply!!!
