I'm so proud!.) It is a bit technicaly written, because it is a medical journal article, but it is fabulous. It explains PCOS symptoms, pathology and treatment really really well, including a nice diagram explaining IR and what happens with that. Go have a look! I am sure a lot of doctors who have been hesitant to treat PCOS would be swayed / educated by this article. Now my question: The article says that certain drugs cause / exacerbate IR. One of the drug groups listed is thiazide diuretics. I *believe* that Spiro is a thiazide diuretic. Anyone know? has spiro been making us worse all along? Yikes there's a thought for you!
