Lee, first of all, congratulations on your weight loss, that is fantastic! Personally, I have lost 25 pounds in the last 6 months or so, and I am back down to my 'normal' size and I do think it has helped me. It has not 'reversed' my symptoms, nor has it 'cured' my PCOS. I still have high FSH/LH ratios, polycystic ovaries etc.. As long as you have a hormonal imbalance you will have trouble with the facial/body hair. You could remove every coarse black hair from your body by a 'permanent' method such as electrolysis, but if you have a hormonal imbalance you will grow more. We have probably, millions of hair follicles that can change to 'terminal' (coarse, black) hairs so even if you take care of what you have now, you will soon have more to deal with unless you get your hormones under control. Having said all that, I do notice that the hair growth is slower and not as dense now. I am not currently on any meds and am feeling alot better. I am 'maintaining' through diet & excercise alone at this point. Good luck to you, and I hope this helps. At Wed, 13 Dec 2000, Lee wrote: >
