Well here is my theory, not that it is for everyone. I have been on and off diet plans since I was in high school. Nutrisystem, weight watchers, jenny craig, one i can not remember the name of but it was mostly liquid, one that was supposed fat blockers and pills, grape fruit diet, every fat free fad diet there was, atkins, sugar busters, bla bla bla. I have decided that there is not a "DIET PLAN" out there that is going to help me. There is not a group of people that I am going to weigh in with that are going to change me, there is not a counselor that can make me loose weight. I have decided that the only way to do this is on my own. I have been taking Met and it helps me feel better physically and emotionally, but on top of that i am cutting things out slowly. I am changning my "LIFESTYLE" and I will never diet again. I have stopped drinking any soda except diet rite once in a while because it has no sugar, no sodium, no caffeine, no aspartame. I do not drink coffee at all and only drink caffeine free tea. I only use splenda as a sweetner. That was my big thing, and ya know after a few months I do not miss them at all anymore. Now I am moving onto the next pasta. I have not had any pasta in a LONG LONG time, and I know that after about 5 or 6 months I will not miss it anymore. From there I will move onto other things. (Besides the obvious things like staying away from candy and cakes, etc.) It took me a hell of a long time to find out what was wrong with me and it took nearly 28 years to get where I am, I am not planning on loosing it all fast. This time I am taking my time and doing it right. No more roller coasters for me. Sorry, long winded. It is in the genes, got it from Mamma Smed. TTFN
