Hi!

I do not have any hair issues. I was only diagnosed a few months ago after going off the pill and having surgery for fibroid tumors on my uterus and 3 months of Lupron indused menopause.

Anyway, I reply because I am on the Aldactone and going back on birth control this week. I will be taking Loestrin 1/20 which is a low estrogen pill. I started on 100mg. 1x a day and moved up to 2x a day to try to get the water retention I am having down and it has worked.

I have struggled with losing wieght from all the other medication I was on for the fibroids. Now I am on wieght watchers and am not insulin resistent so I have taken off 22 lbs. or half of my goal. I was 130 lbs. about 3 yrs ago and went up to 175 from all the crap going on.

The aldactone is working so far I think, we'll see how the pill goes. I did go on 10 days of progesterone and spotted for 10 days, but never really felt like I had a "period".

Good Luck, Val
