Bleeding and pain.

Hello all, I haven't posted in quite a few months now. I hope that everyone is doing well. I have a question that I hope some of you may be able to help me with. In April of '99 I had surgery to repair what was thought to be a groin hernia in my lower right abdomen. Turned out to not be a hernia but an infected "gland" from what the Surgeon told me. They biopsied it and all was fine. I was diagnosed with PCOS in March of this year, started on Met in June, (also am severly anemic). I was seeing an RE in attempt to get pregnant but have not seen her since June, (got tired of trying). Anyway, the met helped with regulating my periods, (closer together and shorter) until last month. I started my period on November the 5th and did not (finally) stop bleeding until December the 4th (the longest ever for me). I saw an RN last week for this problem and all she said was, "Why do YOU think you are bleeding for so long?" Then proceeded to tell me that my labs show that met is not working for me and they will need to change my meds. (Fasting insulin is now at 40, pre met it was at 66) Yesterday afternoon after I got off of work, I started to have pain (stronger then cramping, but not so bad I needed pain medication) in my lower right abdomen. The same area I had pain when I had surgery last year. I am still having pain now, and have been looking on the web. Has this happened to anyone else on here, and if so do you remember what it turned out to be? I have decided if the pain is not gone when I get off work at 4 today I am going to go the the ER and get it checked out. >From what I am seeing this could actually be an eptopic pregnancy that
implanted outside of the uteris, and of course not in the tube itself. I am wondering if that is what happened before and they just didn't say anything. I didn't mean to make this so long, but any help anyone can offer is much appreciated. You can also e-mail me at work @ annetta.herring@riley.army.mil
