Sally, I also suffer from pain, only mine is premenstrual. My back and leg cause me a lot of pain. The pain is sometimes a throbbing and sometimes it feels as if I have joint that needs to be cracked. There have been times that I have had to crawl to get from point to point b. I have tried a chriopractor , pain killers and massage. My pain can last from 2 days to 2 weeks. The worse the pain the more likely I am to get a period. Good luck and I hope you find some relief
