Looking for a good doctor in Los Angeles

Hi. I live in the San Fernando Valley (Northridge area) near Los Angeles. I am having trouble finding a doctor who knows much about PCOS.

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 10 years ago, although I think I have had it since I started my period (about 22 years ago). Anyway, when I asked what my options were for treatment, I was told I could take either the bcp or fertility drugs! Not much of a choice, since I wasn't ready for babies!! I have since been on the bcp, and my doc is not very helpful or informative about any other options, even now.

I'm looking for a doctor in my area who specializes in PCOS and/or one who prescribes glucophage or other progressive treatments for this disorder.

Can anyone refer me to a good doctor near L.A.?

I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much!
