Anybody else in the same bloat boat?

Over the last past three months or so I've been constantly bloated and it seems to be getting worse day by day. At first I thought it was the bcp's but i've been off them for over a month and I'm still bloat central. I've gained about 20 pounds most of which I'm praying is water retention (lol a girl has to have a dream). I am considering asking my doc about met but I'm not IR. Do you think this may be a good route for me to take? I've become a bloated butterball and what a great time for it to happen BEFORE the holidays. Like it's not bad enough that I have to spend a small fortune on gifts but now new clothes too!! If anyone has advice on how to deal with this PLEASE let me know!!
