Fast foreward to today and drs. who are more knowledge and research being done and drs. finally understanding something about pcos. I think you need to find a endo who is rather progressive. The dr. will probably redo all your blood work and then some. The dr may also check for a few other things just to confirm your original diganosis. Hopefully your dr. will then place you on met, and be prepared to have your dosage increased until you have some results. If your endo will not treat you with met then look for another dr. Remember no one wants your body to work right more than you, because you are the one living in it. Try to find info on met, and remember knowledge is power. P.S. I just reread your posting, find a good endo your gyn /oby can only do so much.
>good luck Amy
