First off, let me just say that i think it is so cool that you are involoved with your wife on this. I do have some excess hair growth, but other than that, i am in the same boat as your wife. my new doctor ran some hormone work on me. i'm sorry, i don't have any advice for you. i'm lost myself. i'm on my third doctor now and i can't afford to keep shopping around. i guess i'm going to wait and do like one of the girls suggested, take some information to my doctor about met for non-diabetic woman at my next appointment. she wants me to come back in around 3 months so i guess i'll do it then. I wouldn't stress about it too much though, she's very fortunate that she has a mild case. i hope that you get the answers you need. Angel
