I know this isn't a pleasant topic, but when I've talked to my doctors about this they've just looked at me with this glazed look on their faces as if I don't know what I'm talking about......My problem is that all through my teenage years I noticed that my body, specifically my groin area, had a strange smell just hours after showering (an ammonia smell) I couldn't figure it out and began to think it was normal....well it's not, it seems to be related to PCOS. When I've been on the pill or on Met it seems that my hormones are regulated enough that I have no smell whatsoever. This smell is somehow related to hormone levels, could it be the acidity level or something?? These are all educated guesses but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this.....
