Metformin and Pregnancy, another idea

Has anyone ever wondered if taking Metformin while pregnant might change the chances of giving birth to a baby girl who later develops PCOS?

I know that many doctors believe that this is genetic, but many still also believe that it is triggered at some point by outside influences. If we develop a taste for Indian food while in utero, then why couldn't this have some effect as well? Is it possible that taking Metformin while pregnant might also change the chemical triggers in that girl's body later on?

Just wondering.

Thanks,
