I am also on the pill ... and had an almost EXACT experience with my last cycle. There was a watery, "dirty-bloody" discharge (sorry for the distasteful description there). I thought maybe I was having "odd spotting," but I'm currently taking TWO pills per day, so ANY kind of breakthru bleeding just didn't make ANY sense to me. It happened three seperate times over a period of 7 days (two times were what I would call "twinges" of pain and one episode was painful enough I had to double over for about 30 seconds) --- and during the whole time period, I had digestive problems and TONS of intestinal gas. Anyhow - I went in and insisted on seeing a doctor ... and what he told me is that he thought I had a cyst burst. BUT - I need to warn here of the accuracy of this assessment ... it was given by a general practitioner (who FINALLY took me serious enough to refer me to a specialist) and it was given in a "Well, I don't have any solid answers for you, but it sounds a lot like what I've heard happens when the cysts burst." Anyhow - I am seeing an OB-GYN here in three weeks, who I will ask how serious it is to have this happen - but the general practitioner didn't act like it bothered him at all, so I suppose for now I'm assuming that IF this is what that is, its nothing to be too concerned about. I'm new to this whole mess - so I definately don't have any ANSWERS for certain ... hope your pain and problems go away as quickly as mine did ... take care ...
